With the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution, the interest of Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing techniques has been increasing rapidly. Since the data collected from a lot of devices can generate excessive traffic, recent researches have been conducted to solve this problem using edge computing. In the industrial field, because data collected from various devices can be divided into data for periodic monitoring and data to be processed in an emergency, processing for data packets of priority should be executed first. In this paper, we propose an SDN-based scheduling method for industrial IoT environment with edge computing. We adopt a Priority Decision Model for determining the priority of data and design a scheduling method that can prioritize other data by weighting the data with high priority. The analytical results illustrate that the proposed scheme can be adapted to the Industrial IoT environments. |
